Phuket to Raise the Fund for Haiti Feb11th

February 8th 2010, Wichai Praisa-ngob, the Governor of Phuket, presided over the meeting between the government sections, private business owners, and Phuket Provincial Red Cross. The main agenda of the meeting were date, location, and activities for raising goods and money from Phuket locals and foreigners to help earthquake victims in Haiti. Wichai said that, the fund raising activities will be held on February 11th , 2010 in the area of Soi Bang La, Patong Beach.

The event’s highlight are the local costumes fashion show from the Business Women Association of Phuket, music performance from the 3rd Naval Area Band, Thai performances from Phuket Rajabhat University, Phuket Fantasea and Simon Cabaret. All the stage performances and the event live atmosphere will be broadcasted by Channel 11, Phuket Radio of Thailand and local radio stations.
